Mr. Vasil Atanasov, oboe
Three decades Mr. Vasil Atanasov and his oboe have been a synonym for an amazing interface in which music emerges from the deep vibrations and strong character gleaming out of his personality. As early as the beginning of his career Mr. Atanasov has attracted the others' attention as an artist knowing to reproduce music he plays sincerely and authentically also introducing something very personal in it, original in the master performance, whose echo remains still long in the soul of someone listening to it. In playing his oboe he simply travels though an unusually rich acoustic cosmos creating sound meditation in which the music is highly and deeply enjoyed. His uncommonly gorgeous concert repertoire gets a special artistic expression and elevates towards the plain spaces of à true art. No doubt, this artistic investment is the result of an exhausting, powerful, convincing and sustainable artistic work and devotion to music, being at the same time woven and rooted off from the artist's day-to day activities and, above all, shared with the most dignified challenges to be simultaneously good and a pedagogue, to be a part of the living organism of the Macedonian philharmonic orchestra and also the key initiator and a guide to the famous Skopje Wind Quintet, to be a founder of the Trio Macedonico and of the Skopje soloists chamber orchestra … in one word to be a part of the history of the Macedonian concert art. And not only the Macedonian but also beyond, since Mr. Atanasov also delights the audience with his performance throughout more European countries like Italy, Sweden, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, France, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Romania even to the far Vietnam, Mexico, South Korea … playing at famous world festivals and on more radio and TV houses. A filled exposed and realized artistic life brings also acknowledgment and awards as an unavoidable satisfaction for the artistic labor.

The music records of compositions by Pasculi, Daelli, Rahmaninoff, Ponchielli, Colin, Carrapatoso, Ibert and Deslandres complete the profile of an artist who can play any tone, any phrase with his soul, bring them with a spectrum of emotional valor, with melodic and technical artfulness, components which when interacting make the performance inventive, virtual and rear impressive.
